Launch of ambitious new website

On Sunday, 13 January 2019, VP Securities went live with a brand-new website. The key aim is to increase focus on new visitors and a better user experience for existing customers. The website launch is part of a larger project rethinking the communication strategy, principles and clarifying the image.

“Websites in general don’t live forever and after 6-8 years it’s often time to re-think usability and navigation,” says Head of Communications Hedi Ibenfeldt from VP Securities. “The main aspiration has been to create a more user-friendly website facilitating an outside-in perspective and with a more modern look and feel. Simplicity and Outlook is two out of six new communication principles leading the website in the right direction”.

The website has two main target groups – existing customers and new visitors – and the work of simplifying and re-thinking the entire structure has been an interesting and educational journey, both internally and together with customers. For VP, this is an investment in the future, to make it easier for all parties to use the website, and developing this communication channel is an ongoing task.

Some aspects of the website are still the same and existing customers will continue to have their restricted section for key business processes. Visitors and potential new customers will hopefully experience a bright and welcoming site that is simple to use and easy to navigate.

“We’re not only modernising the site together with our customers, since we also want to be clearer on our position and reasons to choose VP as a business partner. Our communication needs to reflect the ambition of looking more towards the Nordics, and we’re happy to report an initial positive response from our surroundings,” says Hedi Ibenfeldt after less than ten weeks live with the new website.
